FIR Against Polio Controversy
A case registered against the actor Fawad Khan for his alleged refusal to obtain his kids vaccinated against the polio virus. The Lahore district administration has registered first investigation reports (FIR) against six people, including Lollywood actor Fawad Khan. A news release issued by Khan’s manager denied reports that the actor had refused to have his daughter vaccinated.
The polio team claimed that whenever it reached the actor’s house, their request did not entertained. Six cases, four registered at Faisal Town Police Station and two at Model Town Police Station. It is relevant to mention here that Fawad is in Dubai for the Pakistan Super League. And wasn’t at home in the time.

However, the statement refuted reports that the actor had collaborated with political attempts to vaccinate his daughter in his home. It stated Khan affirms campaign against polio and is well aware of the guidelines of international organizations about the disease.

Fawad reserves the right for appropriate legal treatment including all Remedies for any damage caused by this event. If the FIR not canceled, A 3-day anti-polio campaign targeting over 13.2 million people kicked off within the country.
